Austin Drakes is an actor, writer, and film producer who was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey.
With a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Marist College in 2013, Austin developed a passion to write and create visual content to share his ideas and perspectives with the world. His main focus remains on creating content and storytelling that he can use to inspire others by using issues from reality that are relatable to his audience and incorporating them into fiction.
Austin is also a graduate of Columbia University's MFA program where Creative Producing was his concentration. Austin also received his MS in Media Management from Fordham University Gabelli School of Business.
Currently, Austin is focused on creating content for his film production company, Arago Films. Austin has also launched Genesis Talent Partners, a talent management company focusing on developing careers in the film and television industry.
